Day Sixteen: Netherrack

Dear Diary,

Now that we have more than enough bones to make the Herobrine stone, it’s time to get other supplies for the Herobrine totem. The whole team is pretty tired after our epic fight yesterday, so we figured that we would get the easiest thing on our list: Netherrack.

Netherrack is just about everywhere in the Nether. If you were to look at something and ask yourself, “Is this made of Netherrack?” half of the time the answer would be yes. The walls of this place, and probably even the floors, are made up of this material. With so much of it around, it almost seems wasteful that we only need one block of it.

I decided to let the team rest as I got the Netherrack. I took out a pickaxe and chipped away at one of the walls of a cave to get what I needed. Unfortunately, I hit a weak spot in the wall and the whole thing started to tumble down. I grabbed the one block I needed and started to run. It was like there was an avalanche of rocks chasing me. I had just barely gotten to our cave without being crushed.

When I stumbled inside of the cave Fontaine asked me what all the commotion was about. I decided to lay on the ground for a little bit before talking to him. Who could have guessed that something as simple as collecting Netherrack could be so tiring? Anyway, it may go without saying, but I need a nap.
